Save the best for last right? I was the last kid to go visit my parents in the DR. I also had the pleasure of escorting them home! They are officially returned missionaries! I can't believe it! The year and a half seemed to fly by but also seemed to be an eternity. I was so blessed for their service and it was AWESOME to get to see my parents work with the missionaries and to see what they had done for the last year and a half!
We went to a zone conference in the West mission my first day there and then from there we drove out to Barcelo and stayed there for a few days... Beach, Ocean, Beach, Pool, Food... repeat. NO COMPLAINTS there! :) I got lots of sun those few days and peeled for the rest of my time there! The next week we went to three more zone conferences in the East Mission and then to a BBQ put on for the missionaries. I got to go see some of the historical things in Santo Domingo too.
My favorite part? Well, I couldn't narrow it down to one thing. Being with my parents, the sun and humidity, the ocean, and the Temple are just a few of the big things! :)
I loved seeing the differences in cultures to meet all of these awesome people and to step away from my life for a few weeks! I am back to the grind today! Lots of work! :/ Reality sets in.
There are SO many pictures from my trip so I will try to narrow it down and just post a few.
All in all, I loved it!
