My official title is: Director of Center Stage. What is Center Stage? Center Stage provides BYU-Idaho students and the Eastern Idaho community with wholesome professional entertainment from all over the world.
My duties include overseeing marketing and promotions for upcoming concerts. I have a board of 10 students that get college credit for being on the board and helping with the marketing and handing out programs, flyers, and brochures at events. Outside of overseeing those aspects of Center Stage, I work closely with each artist we bring to campus. I host them and make sure they have everything they need. I am usually with the artist from load-in to load-out. If they need to be picked up at the airport, dropped off, or taken to the hotel that is part of my job. Anything can arise on a show day. I have to be ready to handle anything that falls onto my plate. Then when it comes time for the actual event, I emcee. After the guest artist leaves I get to clean up the green room (aka dressing room). Then I do it all over for the next concert.
My job is demanding and sometimes very stressful but I love every second of it! I love the stress. I love the high demands. And I love getting to meet people from all over the world. I am blessed to be able to have been with Center Stage for two years so far and too be able to stay with it for longer. The perks of my job are definitely worth it! ;)

Make my day... leave me a message. I hate to think I am just talking to hear myself talk. :P
