I made to the Philly airport yesterday! It feels great to be back home! I have missed this place so much! Who would have thought I would say I missed Delaware! I've had tons of fun with the twins last night! Its crazy how much they have grown up! Today I got to drive my MINI! It was a glorious day! I forgot how fun it was!

Living in a small town where everybody is trying to be the same person really drives me bonkers. So, I have tried to keep up with the outside world and that is including hairstyles and trends.

Keeping it classy... last sunday.

Hair bow. I've decided it is much easier to do on long hair and on someone else. But it was still fun.

The upside-down braid. Also the first attempt. Probably easier to do on someone else... but a little practice and i'll be good! :) And the high bun... that's a regular lazy day hair.

Basically this whole week I have lived on campus- it's finals week. Well, technically next week is but all of mine are pretty much this week. I have been leaving campus around 9-10pm. This week my apt won clean checks so they gave us gift cards for dominos. All the roommates decided to get the pizzas last night so, I offered to pick it up on my way home. There were two large pizza's, two orders of breadsticks, and two 2L sodas. I also had all my school stuff. I got home and called my roommate to come help me carry it all in. So, I put everything in the grass while I waited for them. I thought I attached my keys to my backpack but this morning my keys were M.I.A.

I spent a half hour looking EVERYWHERE. I then needed to get to school for my final presentation in a class. So I grabbed my spare key and headed to my car... retracing my footsteps... look what I found.


At least they weren't hanging from the drivers side door. Ha! I was also grateful to be living in a town that I can be the idiot that I am and still be fine. ha!
Only a few more days!!! 3 tests one final paper left.

This is the flag we walked through the parade. It was a pretty cool experience. People stood and clapped for us... which made me want to cry... I guess I am a sucker for patriotic things. It was also much harder to do than it looked. we obviously couldn't let it touch the ground and it was pretty much a tug-o-war the whole time!

I had a very busy day on the 4th! Started with getting up early so I could get to the parade and then walk in the parade. After that we had a BBQ which was yummy! Then we went to Idaho Falls to spend time with Anna and Shawn! We floated a river and then watched the fireworks! Got home about midnight... super long day! Then I had 7 o'clock class the next morning! Bummer!

Hope everyone had fun and got to celebrate their freedom!

Well, we went to the competitive championship for football and for men's volleyball recently. The football game we knew no one and the volleyball game my old friend from boise was playing and asked me to come. I used to play with him so I thought it would be a blast to go see him play. His team won which made it even better! :)

yep, that's a helicopter they had drop pingpong balls on the field to give away prizes!

Well, I bought a pair of super cute pink sparkly jellies at The Children's Place... Yes, you read that right! I bought little kid shoes! Well, they are prefect.

I need to figure out some way to wear these without them doing a number on my feet in the process!!

A couple weeks ago we went and hiked "R" Mountain... a pretty boring hike but fun when you get to the top and can climb up on the top of rocks.... I might have terrified Bailey as I climbed to the tops of a few "cliffs" but it was fun!

Just made it to the top!

Now, we were ready to enjoy it!

Glitz&Glam!

I was asked to be the head hairstylist for "Mikado" a production the Theatre Department at BYU-I is putting on right now. So, for the last two weeks I have done lot's of hair. I spent over four hours on just these two wigs below. I designed, and styled both of them. It was really challenging considering they are synthetic so, you can't do much to fix them. Then I also do 3-4 different girls hair each night of the production. IT'S AWESOME! It's what I love to do! So, now I am doing quite a bit and it's pretty awesome! I am so blessed!

I have really been wanting to be in water lately. I miss the summer trips to Lake Billy Chinook where all we did was wakeboard, tube, and eat. I have really been missing the family too. So, I found a lake, about 10-15mins away and I have gone twice so far. Last monday night and then yesterday. It is pretty nice... they have a sandy shore so it's almost legit. :) It's been pretty hot and that makes the freezing cold water worth it! :)

I am starting to get tan again... it's AWESOME!
