It has always been my dream to be showered in glitter and confetti! In Godspell (The Revival on Broadway) there was a moment in the show that the audience was showered in confetti but beyond that and the few times I was in the audience, I had never experienced such a glorious thing. I have an amazingly talented roommate/one of my best friends (Sarah) and she offered to help make my dreams come true. I also recruited Brandy to help distribute the glitter and confetti. Yes, that was her official title. ;P Sarah was behind the camera and majority of all the glitter landed on her just as much as on me. She really doesn't love glitter so she sacrificed for me big time! We spent two hours in nature taking pictures with glitter and confetti! It doesn't get much better than that! Sarah did such a good job that I even look good in some of the pictures.
Here's a great story... The very first picture we were going to take with the glitter, I threw the glitter right above me and the wind picked it up and it went straight at Sarah like a wall. It couldn't have been planned better if I wanted it to. Here is a little video including my initial face after it hit her... followed by lots of laughter and some tears.
I keep finding glitter everywhere and it makes me happy! I feel like it will be in my hair forever... I really do sparkle right now. :)
