Peace, Love, & New Politics.

No I am not going to go into my political views, but I am going to tell you about a band Alex introduced to me- New Politics.

Yesterday I went to Utah with Alex and Austin to see a concert which was awesome and we'll get to that in a little bit.

Most people know I started working in the music industry in Utah for a booking agency. Well the show we went to was at a venue I used to work at all the time... The Murray Theatre. This is where I ran over David Archuleta (click for link to that story), met the man I thought I was going to marry (click for that story), and fell in love with the behind the scenes. I owe a lot of what and who I am today to this small overrated venue. And I love it. As I was there after 4 YEARS. I realized not much had changed. They upgraded a few things and got rid of my favorite gold wall! But other than that it was the same venue I used to spend so much time at.

Here is a picture with my favorite wall!!! Who knows what show I was working that night but the wall was much more important to me than getting the venue ready to open doors!

The headliner of the concert was New Politics and they put on one heck of a show. I can't remember the last time I have ever waited in line for a concert... well actually it was probably Hilary Duff back when I was 12 or 13. But it was worth the drive, worth the wait in line, and worth all of the sweat on me that wasn't even mine.

Here is one of their songs I really love!

At this point the crowd was holding him up! Pretty cool!

I am not sure how I did not get a picture of the drummer because he was beautiful! But that isn't the point! I had a great time and got to escape Rexburg! So, thank you, Alex!

Make my day... leave me a message. I hate to think I am just talking to hear myself talk. :P
